Let's Fly High.

Rise into the sun with your whimsy
Let your heart be free
Nothing matters high in the sky
So come on, let's fly high
You and I

....

Random ditty I had created in the ten minute line for Carl's Jr. I even created the intro to the song and played around with a few verses, but that's the chorus. I kinda forgot the tune to everything past the first line after the three hour no-thinking-palooza.

My Xanga posting seems to be inabled. Or something. I don't know, I haven't been able to post.

I like it! It would fit on the cover of a journal.

You mean Xanga posting is disabled? Or perhaps "inabled" is just a word that I'm not familiar with and simply confusing with "enabled."

enabled*

And thank you.

I for some reason couldn't post for about a week or so. I was ready to hit something cause I wrote a lot, and then it wouldn't register. So eventually I went to it every day and typed "Testing." to see if it would work. Today it did.

No wait. I meant disabled. G'dammnit, I'm having trouble with my memory.

Disney-related news ahead, my friend!

'The Little Mermaid' musical to debut

Disney's The Little Mermaid will swim on stage next summer, receiving its world premiere in Denver.

Exact dates for the production, based on the 1989 animated film, were not released. The musical, though, will be directed by Francesca Zambello and will play the the Ellie Caulkins Opera House, which is part of the Denver Performing Arts Complex. No casting was announced.

The show will feature a new book by Doug Wright, author of the Tony Award-winning I Am My Own Wife. The score will feature songs from the movie by Alan Menken and Howard Ashman, who died in 1991, as well as new material by Menken and lyricist Glen Slater. The song, Under the Sea, won an Academy Award for best original song.

Zambello is best known as an opera director, having directed An American Tragedy,Cyrano and Les Troyens for the Metropolitan Opera; Don Giovanni at London's Royal Opera House; and Boris Godunov,Billy Budd and William Tell at the Paris Opera.

I think that would be interesting-- how would they manage the mermaid tails? Or the swimming mermaids? I'm thinking thinking they could probably pull off the underwater atmosphere well, if they have a good budget.

It does seem interesting. Verry interesting...

I don't know.

So, what are you doing this weekend? Disneyland, I'm guessing?

And how does the timestamp at the end of your entry say that it's past midnight?

And I really hope you have a senior picture in the yearbook, so please call or have someone call Hall Photography 968-1878.

See ya!

Yeah, I went to Dis. I only allow myself past midnight on certain nights. For instance, if, like tonight, I don't plan on sleeping anytime soon. Usually and mostly only weekends.

I'm only on the computer for homework, but I finished that, so here I am, since I didn't get a chance to all weekend, pretty much.

I'll call before the twentieth, don't worry.

When you go to Dis, do you ever go on rides anymore?

I really can't focus right now. I have to finish up a cover letter for English (that is basically only for English class) and I seem to have writer's block. Or I just don't feel like forcing one whole paragraph of filler ("why I'm 'qualified' yada yada").

We actually stopped not going on rides. I don't remember the last time we didn't go on a ride. Maybe The premiere...

Pshah. There's no such thing as writer's block - just stupid topics.

Check it out. The new Anna Sui collection seems to be tremendously pirate-inspired, especially in the middle/last pieces. In fact, the print on many of the dresses has a skull and boots on them.

But despite the creativity I actually think this collection is predominately hideous.

Waah, I wish you had your old hair back!

I concur.

And I don't really miss my hair...except for the fact that I can't do the random braids and I have to buy more expensive wigs now...

Waah, why do you want to look like a guy now? Well, androgyny is one thing, but... looking like a guy is another!

Oh no, I did the looking like a guy thing before I cut my hair with a wig I had.

I'm good with myself. I like how I look, since it can go either way.

Oh yeah, also, are you not "aiding" for actor's rep anymore? And were you even officially aiding in the first place, as in getting credits for your time?

I'm still gonna be there randomly, and no I never did officially. And I don't care to be stuck with Robo for four hours. Alex may be able to do it, but I can't. Or rather, I won't.

And it looks...alright. If nothing else, I expect an awesome performance from the J-man. But I stopped expecting things from other people. I never got a chance to see the other movie he wrote and directed, so I don't know how well he does with all that.

Paprika seems...odd. And I'm only mildly interested in that "stuff"...heavens knows why I was put as co-president, and it's my lust for power that prevents me from stopping. XD

Anyways...I'm gonna go back to preparing for Club Rush.

what's the background for your xanga? your xanga icon?

11:17 PM
Blogger Krist of the New Age said...

The background for my xanga is the character Light Yagami from Death Note (which is an amazingly awesome suspenseful and intellectual manga (turned into a live action film)). I don't know why he's doing the disco. I just have it as my background because it's amusing and simple. My icon is Tamaki from Ouran Host Club blowing up into a balloon because of something someone said. Yeah. I wish I could have it bigger. I'll change it eventually.

It changes. Usually Janine. I also go with Drew, Heather, and Alex. It's been a while since I've been with Chessie. Oh yeah, it's also been a tiny while since I've been with Prichard or Marianne.

I'm sorry, Annie.
